Rustlers Burger hacking Challenge

Life with children isn’t easy nor is it a walk in the park.

Life with children is always a life in the fast lane. You can guarantee that with children comes busy schedules – after school clubs, parent evenings, numerous birthday parties, bottomless homework the list goes on. Sometimes by the end of the day the last thing that we want to do is slave in front of the oven.

Fridays Ryan usually arrives home a little later than usual because he has to load his fishing kit in his car ready for his weekend matches. We still love eating together as a family. However, by the time he’s home the thought of cooking makes my heart sink. What we really need is a quick and convenient meal solution that pleases the whole family.

Last Friday was no different, Ryan arrived home at quarter to six and by that time all housewife duties go out the window and convenience is the only thing on my mind.

Luckily for us Rustlers have our back and came to the rescue. Rustlers burgers make it super easy for us all to have a meal that we enjoy with minimal effort.

I placed the chips in the oven and left them to cook whilst I gave Shaniah a bath. Once bathtime was over it was back down to cook the burgers for 1 1/2 minutes each in the microwave before each customizing our burgers to our own desires.

Here is what the little (and big) ones created!

Shaniah making Rustlers Burger

Shaniah opted for Onion, Lettuce and Mayonnaise in her burger with Chips and Coleslaw on the side.

Stilton and Southern fried chicken burger

Ryan went all out with his Rustlers Southern Fried Chicken burger and added Stilton Cheese, Lettuce and Onion with a side of chips, Coleslaw and a generous helping of mayonnaise.

My Rustlers burger

I’m pretty plain Jane when it comes to spicing up my burger so I had Tomato, Lettuce and onion topped with Chilli sauce and a side of Chips and Coleslaw.

The whole family absolutely loved this Rustlers meal (3 empty plates made their way to the kitchen), my purse did too! With Tesco selling Rustlers Southern Fried Chicken Burger twin packs Shaniah was also able to enjoy a burger for her lunch during the weekend!

Rustlers have busy schedules in mind and are the perfect food to accompany those busy weekend occasions and still be fun for the youngsters (and oldies!). Rustlers provides a quick, convenient and affordable meal when mums at the end of their tether need it most. You can add whatever toppings and sides you want in order to create a balanced meal.

The burgers feature quality chicken marinated with a southern fried breadcrumb.

Why not pop to Tesco, grab a southern fried chicken burger twin pack and try the Rustlers Burger Hacking Challenge for yourselves?
