Our trip to Cornwall 2017 – day 4.

Tuesday 20th June

This week is flying by I can’t believe we are half way through our holiday already, how is that even possible? On the brighter side we are yet to have a day where the weather is bad – perfect!

This morning was a relaxing one, we were treated to a lovely full English breakfast which was absolutely gorgeous. We were going to pop down to Truro in the afternoon so we spent the morning just chilling in our Lodge.

Kayleigh, Luke and Dawn took both Shaniah and Freya to feed the ducks whilst Ryan and I popped down to the tackle shop a such fun! Upon returning it turns out that the others didn’t have had fun either as the ducks were in hiding!

We fed the Little ones lunch then headed down to Truro. I was adamant that the first place I was heading to was somewhere that sells clothes because me being me only took dark clothes! Now everyone knows that wearing black on a hot day is simply the worst thing ever to do!

We walked around a few shops then we headed to Thorntons where I had the most amazing ice-cream ETON MESS FLAVOUR! Oh my word! It was incredible, I couldn’t stop singing its praises. It even had meringue pieces in which found its way right to my heart (and hips!)

For dinner we decided we’d have fish and chips, man they were good too! Today is a good day for food!

After dinner the little ones decided to have a paddle in the paddling pool after all this weather was paddling pool weather right?

Eventually they were all tired out and headed to bed. Goodnight all!
