At the end of the day, when bed time is creeping up on me. I like to slip into my pyjamas/ onesie and remove the make up off of my face. To keep my skin it tip top condition I then apply creams to my face as wearing make up doesn’t let your skin breathe as well as it should and our poor pours get clogged. Here are my go to facial skin care products.
N°7 protect & Perfect intense night cream.
I absolutely adore this product! I got it in a gift set for Christmas and have been using it every night since!
It doesn’t feel as heavy on the skin as most do and you could run it in no problem. I’ve only been using it just over a month and my skin is feeling and looking incredible. The cream also smells pretty amazing too which is always a winner in my eyes, I don’t particularly want to wear something that doesn’t smell that great or has a kind if chemical smell to it, but this product has neither of that it smells so sweet and refreshing. It’s a very welcomed and well used product on my beauty table.
THE VERDICT: Will I buy it once it’s ran out? I definitely will! Now it’s not the cheapest face cream out there and there are more than likely a few products that work just as well for less but I believe in treating myself now and again. One thing I will add is a little goes a very, very long way so don’t expect to be buying it every month because in a month of me using it I’ve barely scratched the surface (which is brilliant!).
Avon’s Cocoa butter (lips)
Now once I’ve done my face I like to then take care of my lips. Your lips go through a lot during the day and they have a hard time during the winter with the cold air chapping them and drying them out.
When I first stumbled across Avons lip butter I didn’t really have high expectations, like many lip products that have come and gone before I didn’t expect it to be that much of a big deal, in fact I didn’t even think I would see a change with my lips. Boy was I wrong. My lips have never felt so smooth, yes they are a little chapped but it doesn’t claim to be a miracle worker. One thing I will say though is that it doesn’t taste overly great… now, being on your lips you would ideally like something that tastes pretty good but hey we can’t have it all so overall it’s a pretty decent product that is small enough to carry in your bag which every girl knows how essential that is.
Would I recommend? Yes I think I would but again there are more than likely products out there that are just as good if not better.
Garnier SkinActive Moisture bomb.
Now last but not least my favourite product of all time!
I discovered this product through my Mother, yes its true you can indeed get beauty tips from your parents! She never really bad skin because she never wore make up but she suffered from spots now and again. After a while I noticed her skin looking better and the spots hardly ever made an appearance any more. I needed this product and I needed it now.
I’ve been using it for about 3 weeks now and I can honestly say my skin is so incredibly soft and the life has been put back into it. The only down side to this product is that it’s not the cheapest, it’s not expensive either but it’s not cheap. It also doesn’t last that long I’d give it about a month. So you will need to top up. On the bright side Superdrug tend to put this on offer quite regularly.
Do you recommend? Absolutely! So does my mother, she cannot stop singing it’s praises.
That’s my night time skin care routine. I hope you enjoyed reading about it and are thinking about giving one a go. Do you already use one? Leave your opinions in the comment below.
