Dreaming of my dream bedroom.

31st January 2018

The bedroom is the place where we can relax, unwind and let the minutes pass us by. My bedroom is long overdue a revamp. In fact, I don’t think it’s been updated since I moved in!

I spend most of my free time planning what my perfect bedroom would look like and also getting unrealistic ideas from pinterest. I find that the build up to redecorating is so, so exciting. The possibilities are endless yet so rewarding! I see loads of beautiful homes and rooms on Instagram and Pinterest and I long to have my home looking just a smidgen of these.

I am loving the grey coloured bedrooms at the moment. I am absolutely loving all the grey room photos over on Pinterest. They look so classy but at the same time they look like somewhere that is super easy to relax in. I am also loving velvet at the moment too so I would have to incorporate that in some way. Maybe on the bed? Scatter cushions will also need to make their appearance! I love them however Ryan doesn’t understand why you would want something that you have to remove every night then put back every morning. Some men just don’t get it!

I would also love a walk in wardrobe they are excellent space savers for rooms of any size. I have always wanted a walk in wardrobe, they just seem so stylish and are absolute life savers when it comes to a growing family that is lacking space.

Walk in wardrobe’s are the perfect storage space for the bedroom. All the clothes, shoes and endless amounts of make-up can be stored away leaving no need for freestanding wardrobes or chest of drawers taking up that much needed space.

I would have beautiful sliding mirror doors on mine. Sliding doors again, take up less space. At this rate my room will be looking huge!

I would absolutely love to have a nice sleigh bed too. I just think they look so classy and super comfy. The perfect way to relax after a long day.

If you could change your bedroom how would you have it?
