Meal Plan: Week 17.

29th May 2019

Another week another meal plan. I am still loving the whole meal plan aspect, As well as feeling organised I have also found that I am saving a lot of money as I’m not going out every day purchasing ingredients and then adding a load of impulse buys on top.

Last week was rather successful when it came to the meals that I chose. Shaniah was more than keen to give them a go and although she didn’t finish them all, she did give them a good go and that is fine by us.

Anyway, Here is this weeks meal plan.

Monday: Creamy chicken puff pasty pie with peas and mashed potato.

I love this meal. In fact, everyone I ever serve it to has nothing but praise for the dish. It is a simple meal from Kitchen Sanctuary and I highly recommend that you try it!

Tuesday: Garlic chicken.

This is one of my favourite chicken dishes, it super easy to make yet it is also a dish that wouldn’t look out of place at a dinner party.

Wednesday: Burger and chips.

Veggie burger meal

Nothing much to say about this other than a little bit of what you fancy does you good.

Thursday: Summer Risotto

I have noticed lately that Shaniah is just not that interested in meat-based meals. She is at her happiest when she is given meals with rice and a shed load of vegetables. I recently found this vegetarian recipe while flicking through my Annabel Karmel 100 family meals recipe book. I am keen to try Shaniah with vegetarian dishes as I feel that is her preference.

Friday: Beef Stroganoff with Tagliatelle.

Another recipe I found while searching through Annabel Karmel’s recipe book. I have made Beef Stroganoff before and the whole family went crazy for it, what I haven’t done is serve it with Tagliatelle, something that I am keen to try out.

Saturday: Fish fingers, potato wedges and mixed veg.

Pfft, I am only human and sometimes humans need to serve up a food found in the freezer. Today is that day,

Sunday: Chicken, bacon and potato bake.

Super cheap, super easy and super tasty.

That is this weeks meal plan. Can you tell it’s half term?
