Living Arrows – 3/07

“You are the bows from which your child as living arrows are sent forth” – Kahlil Gibran.

Welcome back to another week of the Living Arrows linky hosted by Donna over at What the Redhead said

I cannot believe we are three days into July already, where on earth has this year gone? We are a week post holiday and also completed just under a week of potty training! We are no where near the finish line yet but we are on the right track and this is all I could have possibly asked from her, she is extremely nervous about using the potty because she feels as though by doing a wee in there she has let us down. We celebrate and cheer her on when she does one but that seems to make things worse, maybe you can be too supportive?

Back to the link up Tamara, come on!

So, here are our favourite moments from the past week!

Of course the potty training bit has to be the first entry! Shaniah absolutely hates the thought of going in the bathroom so we’ve had to place the potty by the telly then slowly wean it into the bathroom – Nothing is ever straight forward!

We took a trip to Cribbs in Bristol for a spot of retail therapy, Ryan absolutely hates going shopping with us because we both get distracted by every little thing – we are girls it’s only natural right? Shaniah will only take a bath if there is a bath bomb available – such a diva! So we always pop into Lush to stock up, every time we do the staff always take a shine to her and they play with the bath bombs with her – she absolutely loves it there!

Lastly, we took a trip to Kemble Airport, both Shaniah and my younger brother Ashley are budding little plane spotters and there is a cafe on site which does the most amazing food at reasonable prices so we always try and take an afternoon there when we don’t have any other plans. Ashley even got to sit in the cockpit of a Britannia!

Oh wow, it looks like you’ve had some lovely days out! Our potty was often found in front of the TV too! x
