Easy autumnal make-up look.

I often find myself really starting to enjoy make up at this time of the year. With all the different products and shades it is hard not to love this season. I tend to switch up what I have in my make-up bag to include some darker tones especially warmer golden eye shadows when the days nights get longer.

There are loads of looks that I love to create during these cold autumn days. This one is a pretty straightforward look that you can either dress up or down.

Firstly, I like to prepare my face. Wearing Foundation can be a little hard on our skin so I like to moisturise my skin before applying primer. I then spritz my face with Rimmel London’s #insta fix and go setting spray then I apply a primer. There are a couple of primers that I use ranging between e.l.f, Rimmel London and L’Oreal.

Now I prep my eyelids. I don’t always prep my eyelids however, when I am going out for a date or for the day then it’s something that I like to do as it keeps my eyeshadow in place and makes the pigments more bold. Once I have done that I then apply tape so that it follows the lower lash line.

On to the eyeshadow look.

First off I used a light warm yellow/orange tone from my Revolution matte 18 over my eyelid. I am loving the Spectrum C06 brush at the moment. I then use a warm orange tone on the outer corner of my eyelid and in the crease. Next up is a burgundy shade again on my outer corner of the lid and blend once I am happy with it then I remove the tape and apply a light dusting of the orange eyeshadow under my bottom lash line.

If I want to dress up my look I will then go back to my top lids and apply a dab of black eyeshadow on top of the burgundy.

Next up, whilst still having the tape on I do winged eyeliner. I prefer to use gel liner, my favourite is e.l.f however many people find that using a liquid eyeliner is far more easier.

Now it’s time to add the finishing touches to my eyes. I start by removing the tape and then use Seventeen’s eyelash curler. I then apply Maybelline Push up Angel mascara.

To really make this look I apply Red Cherry eyelashes in the style Wispy Eyelure lash fix. I absolutely love these lashes because no matter if you wear them day to day or for a special occasion they suit both.

I have recently been introduced to an awesome shop online called falseeyelashes.co.uk.  They have a wide range of false eyelashes from all different brands at super affordable prices.

Next up it’s time to bring the eyebrows to life. I use the Morphe M158 angle liner spoolie brush. Starting off with the spoolie side I brush my eyebrows into shape. Next up using the brush side I apply Freedom brow pomade to fill in my brows. I love this product because I feel that it makes my eyebrows look more realistic. Sometimes if I want a bolder look I will highlight them using Morphe concealer in the shade oats.

The face.

Now to do my face. I start off by using the Sleek colour corrector palette and then apply my foundation on top. In the photos I am using Estee Lauder double wear in the shade 2N1 Desert Beige. I then apply Artdeco loose powder to set my foundation.

I finish the look off with a bold lip, the colour that I am using for this is Morphe Liquid lip in the shade Vanity.

This has fast become one of my favourite looks. I just think this look would good amazingly with a warm toned shawl wrap, some heeled Chelsea boots and denim jeans. Isn’t autumn just awesome?
